Nora Fatehi revealed that when she came to India, she had only 5 thousand rupees, at that time she did not even know what 1 thousand dollars was, she was living in an apartment with mentally ill girls, two of whom she shared a room with.
Nora Fatehi said that she was abused daily in that apartment, it was a painful experience.
The actress further said that the agencies through which she wanted to enter the world of showbiz were also involved in her exploitation.
Nora Fatehi said that she used to ask herself, “What kind of trouble have I gotten myself into, in a room with nine other girls?”
Nora said during the interview that in the beginning talent hunting agencies underpaid her, she lived on a bread and an egg for a long time, it was a very difficult time.
Nora Fatehi says that she also needed treatment after moving to India, but she did not have enough money to go to a good hospital for her treatment.
Talent hunting agencies in India exploit newcomers and there are no laws to protect you, reveals Nora Fatehi.
